The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee
Platinum Jubilee Concerts ‘Proms in Purley’
To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee we will be holding two concerts as part of the Purley on Thames village celebrations.
Join us for an extravaganza of music from across the British Isles!
We will celebrate by presenting folk songs from every corner of the UK, alongside patriotic, flag-waving favourites such as Handel’s coronation anthem Zadok the Priest, Land of Hope and Glory, Jerusalem, and, of course, the National Anthem. You will be expected to bring your best singing voices to join the chorus – and patriotic dress and flags will be very welcome!
